We have English and Russian language lessons. There are a library, Art studio for children and Web-design Studio. Also, the Centre provides consultations in law, finance and other aspects of work and business in Russia and Britain. NEWS The drawing competition, "What cannot be" continues!

Dear children and parents,   We are pleased to announce that the drawing competition, entitled "What cannot be", continues.   Not only children, but now parents as well, can realize their fantasies about magical and mysterious worlds!   All participants are most welcome, and or the first time, parents can take part in the competition and discover and realise their own   creativity.   You can bring your drawings to the Russian school and drop them off with Elena Sedunova (room 22), alternatively you can send them to us at [email protected]   The school operates on Saturdays from 11-00 to 14-00 in the Adelphi Centre at 12 Commercial road, G5 0PQ

Dear friends, we trust you are all well. Once again we are pleased to inform you all that the preparation to pass the GCE-A Level Russian Examination commences on 14 October 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Adelphi Centre. The student group will be taught by our highly experienced teacher Tatyana Orlova, who had excellent success with all of her students passing their exams in June 2017. There are only 15 lessons before the preliminary exam so beat the rush and join now!! To join the group now simply send an email to [email protected]

On 29 September 2017 the Goethe Institute in Glasgow organised and hosted the celebration of European Day of Languages. Our very own Teacher from RCS Haven, Natalya Krisanov, provided the Russian tester session for all of those who would like to get a small taste of learning Russian. Needless to say it was received extremely well with an overflow of interest in studying the Russian language. The lesson was very interesting and everyone participating had such fun. To make the session an even better success, we had complete beginners who, by the end of the session, could write their names in Russian as well as learn several sentences of welcome.

 You are invited to the  Russian Edinburgh Educational and Support Centre   TOT THEATRE’s  production of   Treasures Island   based on the acclaimed novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.   Surprising and fascinating story - a fantasy about capturing pirates, treasure hunting,    with the unique video made on Cramond Island, the inspiration for R.L. Stevenson’s Treasure Island.       

The Russian School at RCS Haven warmly invites you for a meeting on 16 September at 13.00 at the Adelphi-Centre, 12 Commercial Road, G5 0PQ, regarding the following Russian exams within the British educational system:   GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and, GCE Advanced Level (A-Level).   During this meeting school representatives will discuss: The accreditation of RCS Haven The structure and features of exams Learning and training options Registration and examination procedures   We will also answer any questions you may have.   We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
